Amidst the hustle and bustle of the holiday season, it’s easy to get caught up in buying gifts for your loved ones. However, some children truly understand the meaning of gratitude and go out of their way to express their gratitude.
Last year, magician and telepath Ryan Hicks (also known as Ryan Trix) came across a 10-year-old boy standing on the side of the road on a freezing day. Next to the used toy, the boy was holding a tag that read, “I’m selling the toy for my mom’s Christmas present.” Intrigued, Ryan approached the boy to find out more about his inspiring efforts.

When Ryan asked the boy why he sold the toy, the answer he received left him speechless. The boy explained that his mother worked overtime and made many sacrifices to buy Christmas presents. He wanted to show his gratitude by selling toys and buying her a special gift.

Ryan Hicks was moved by the boy’s story and realized he had an opportunity to help. He asked for the price of the toy and was surprised to find that it was so affordable. Impressed by the boy’s generosity, Ryan decided to intervene and make a difference.
Ryan praised the boy’s actions and gave him an “A” grade. He then surprised the young entrepreneur by offering to buy all his toys. The boy couldn’t believe his ears and asked Ryan if it was true. When he found out it was true, he offered the amazingly low price of £50 for all the toys.

Ryan didn’t want the boy to underestimate his toys, so he insisted on giving him more. In return, he offered to pay £100 with the guarantee that it would not be stolen. The boy happily accepted the offer and after receiving the money asked Ryan for a hug. Tears filled Ryan’s eyes at the warmth and kindness shared between them.
But Ryan still had one more surprise in store. Since the boy had done so much for his mother, Ryan wanted to give the boy something special for himself as well. So he gave the boy an extra 100 pounds of his to use for himself. It was a small act, but it meant a lot to the boy.
