Middle school chorus students from the Hingham Middle School Junior Choral Spectrum in Massachusetts knew they had to take action when they learned that their teacher was getting married.
Students wanted to honor Christopher Landis for all of the work he did prior to marrying Joe, who would become his husband.
Therefore, they came up with a surprise they knew he wouldn’t soon be able to forget. They executed their strategy at Landis’ bridal brunch. Boy, the desired result was realized.
The youngsters performed an outstanding rendition of the Beatles’ “All You Need Is Love” after unexpectedly showing up at Landis’ practice”.
They had been practicing in private every Sunday for a whole month, perfecting it for a man who deserved it.
But Landis is a mess from the time the kids start to come in until the singing is over. Tears soon begin to fall from his eyes because he is so shocked and humbled by how far so many people are willing to go for him.
The video alone shows how much love Landis has for “his kids,” as he calls them, and how much admiration they have for him.
In addition to the emotions they convey, it’s important to remember that these kids can sing just as well as anyone.

We wish Chris and Joe the best of luck in their future union!
