The search for missing Tasmanian teen Shyanne-Lee Tatnell in the vicinity of the North Esk River has recently been temporarily halted by authorities.

About three weeks ago, Shyanne-Lee Tatnell, 14, vanished in the area of the North Esk River, and police have temporarily halted their intensive search efforts in the area. 8:30 p.m. on a Sunday.

The teenager has not yet been found despite police searching the area thoroughly. Inspector Craig Fox recognized the numerous efforts made, including a recent search that was accomplished with the invaluable help of the Westpac Rescue Helicopter, as he declared the conclusion of the search operation for Shyanne-Lee in the North Esk River region. Sadly, no significant discoveries have been made.
Inspector Fox sent a letter to Shyanne’s family expressing his condolences and assuring them that the police will continue to keep in regular contact with them during this difficult time.
Inspector Craig Fox stressed that even though the search effort is over, the mysterious disappearance of the 14-year-old Shyanne-Lee is still under investigation.
Several items that were found in the North Esk River have recently been investigated by the police. These discoveries have been shown to have no connection to Shyanne-Lee’s disappearance.
Any information or leads that might shed light on the circumstances surrounding her disappearance are being diligently pursued by the police.

She is unable to contact her loved ones, which the police say is unusual.
The main objective of the investigation is to find out more about her whereabouts or general safety. When Shyanne-Lee was last seen, there were cars nearby, according to CCTV footage, which led a nearby resident to call the police.
