When life falls apart, it can be difficult to imagine that things will ever be wonderful again. Light, though, seems to find a way to shine through despite all of that suffering.
That happened to Courtney Hill when her husband Bryan was suddenly taken from her and her family.
Bryan served as a career soldier in the US Army and was stationed in Kuwait, Iraq, and Afghanistan. Over the years, he placed himself in a number of dangerous situations, but he always managed to come out unscathed.
Bryan and Courtney believed that after Bryan left the Army, their lives would be happier and more carefree.
But they were not aware that danger lay just around the corner.
Bryan tragically perished in a car crash in February 2016. Along with losing her beloved husband, Courtney also had to bid Reagan’s great-father farewell.
Getting ready for the wake quickly took up all of Courtney’s time. In the midst of all of this, she received the unexpected news that she was expecting a child.
“Sweetheart, you’re going to be a dad again,” Courtney told Bryan as she held him during the wake. ”.
Courtney was able to overcome her grief as the months passed. She worked extremely hard to change her lifestyle.
Unfortunately, things got worse when Courtney started to feel really sick. She worried she might have a miscarriage, so she went to the doctor.
At that point, Courtney learned new information that completely changed the course of her life.
Two boys and one girl were discernible to the doctors in the ultrasound!
I started to cry. But I was glad to have three more smiles that remind me of him,” she told CBS Chicago.
She finds out she’s expecting after her husband dies, and she then sees the stunning ultrasound.
There are many risks associated with having triplets, and when Courtney had a subsequent scan, she received some terrible news.
Brady, one of the infants, was left behind without a heartbeat.
The other two infants, Miles and Harper, were both born in good health.
Along with her daughter, Reagan, Miles, and Harper are the objects of Courtney’s affection. Because she is aware of Bryan’s pride in his children, she is enthusiastic about having children.
When questioned, Courtney typically denies that Miles and Harper are identical twins.
I call them surviving triplets,” she exclaims with jubilation. ”.
Naturally, Courtney misses her husband and her miscarried child, but she finds strength in her mothering.
Bryan was a brave, strong, and loving man. She treasures every moment she spends with her children because their father is unable to see them grow.
Since witnessing h firsthand, Courtney has learned to enjoy every day with her little darlings.
