Yesterday, the @santaynez Hospital’s wonderful staff helped us celebrate our 41st wedding anniversary.
There I received treatment for a bruised rib and food poisoning (long story). Now that I’m back home and relaxing, I’m reminded once more of how fortunate I am that she said “I do” 41 years ago”.

In addition to his health-related issues, Bergeron has informed his followers of a variety of life events. In fact, he uploaded a picture of his test results and stated on his social media pages that he had fallen ill after testing positive for the coronavirus.
So, having avoided it for more than two years, I’ve now succumbed to it. Along with a picture of his positive test from July 2022, he wrote, “And I thought I was immune”.
He provided another update two days later.
The fifth day of Covid. The Paxlovid I had been taking this morning had to be stopped. Despite excellent performance, there is a metallic aftertaste that is thought provoking”.
For the first 28 seasons of “Dancing With the Stars,” beginning in 2005, Bergeron served as the program’s host.
Tell @DancingABC they can continue without me, please. My career’s biggest shock has been a remarkable 15-year run. I value both of those things, along with the lifelong friendships I’ve forged. Bergeron tweeted in July 2020, “After thinking about that, what should I do with all of these glitter masks?”.
In its place, Tyra Banks took over after Bergeron’s Twitter account was suspended. Julianne Hough was chosen to host season 32 after Banks left the program in 2023. In the fall of 2023, Alfonso Ribeiro will co-host the first episode of the new season.
