A customer arrives at the “Express Lane” carrying a large amount of merchandise.

According to a recently released story, a Walmart customer recently had a close encounter with a customer who needed to comprehend the express line rules.

The cashier explained patiently that people with ten or fewer items should use the 10-item line. She pointed to the sign above the lane that read “Ten Items or Less” in both English and Spanish, holding up both hands to emphasize her point.

The client was perplexed by this requirement and appeared to have forgotten that she had a bulging basket full of items that she had attempted to smuggle through the checkout line with its strict item limit.

Under duress, the cashier maintained her composure and politely informed the customer of the restrictions. Walmart provided excellent customer service.

In response to my request, the clerk came up with a hilariously creative idea that made me smile.

I quickly paid for my purchases and generously gave her a twenty dollar bill as a tip because I appreciated the effort she had put in. Since I hadn’t seen anything like it in a while, it was fun to see such top-notch improvised humor in person.
