According to the Midland Reporter-Telegram, the headline performance by Clint Black at the upcoming Black Gold Bash in Midland, Texas has been rescheduled.
Due to a health issue, the singer from the 1990s canceled his attendance at the event.
Black “needs to have a procedure on his back before his performance,” according to a spokesman, and he won’t be able to perform while he recovers.
The Black Gold Bash will occur on June 7, and Clay Walker has already been contracted to take Black’s place as the concert’s headliner. The partnership event, now in its fifth year, helps families in the oilfield sector who are struggling financially or are dealing with health issues by raising money.
Black’s health issues will reportedly prevent him from performing at a few more dates of his upcoming Summer’s Comin’ Tour in 2023, according to Country Now. Dates for four events have changed from their original June dates. On October 1, the new locations for these performances are Overland Park, Kansas; Catoosa, Oklahoma; Round Rock, Texas; and Fort Worth, Texas. 27, Dec. 28, Aug. four and fifteen in August. 5 correspondingly.
Additionally, Black’s scheduled performance in Abilene, Texas, for June 16 has been rescheduled.
According to Black’s website, the 2023 Summer’s Comin’ Tour will make its debut performance on June 24 at the Winston-Salem Fairgrounds Annex in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. During this time, the singer continues to host an all-star lineup of musicians on his Circle Network program, Talking in Circles With Clint Black.
