Recently, a man shared his opinions on his son’s school in a blog post. When his son drew something in class, the teacher became very upset and quickly convened a meeting with the boy’s parents.

The drawing showed four people with what appeared to be ropes around their necks. Anyone who doesn’t know much about the family would undoubtedly be concerned upon seeing a drawing like that. The need for an explanation was completely ignored by the parents, who showed no signs of concern. The father immediately clarified to assuage the teacher’s worries, “We were snorkeling off the Bahamas.”. Online debate, though, centered on whether the teacher’s actions were appropriate.
When a child draws a “family picture,” the teacher calls an emergency meeting right away.
