Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani Celebrate Their Second Anniversary with Heartwarming Wedding Throwback Photos

The second wedding anniversary of Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani was celebrated on Monday, July 3. Throwback images of the couple’s wedding day were used by both celebrities to mark the occasion.

Short and sweet, Shelton tells Stefani that he still loves her just as much as the day of their wedding.

Happy anniversary, Gwen! Since I met you, every day has been the best day ever.

On the occasion of the couple’s anniversary, Shelton posted a picture from their wedding day along with his congratulations. They are both decked out to the nines and standing next to their multi-tiered, custom-built wedding cake when he is seen kissing his newlywed at the reception.

Similar to Stefani and Shelton’s wedding ceremony, the cake featured in the country singer’s anniversary tweet was expertly arranged.

After their wedding, the couple revealed that the cake was a sentimental ode to Stefani’s family history. They had a specialized bakery make a replica of the cake that Stefani’s parents served at their wedding, complete with free-hand piping.

The names of the bride’s three sons, Shelton, and herself were embroidered into the veil that she wore as she walked down the aisle, adding a special touch to the bride’s lavish Vera Wang gown.

Stefani also paid tribute to the couple’s special day on their second anniversary, but this time she shared a video montage of several of their most treasured memories from the years rather than just a single photo.

The movie looks back on their time together, including their time spent with Stefani’s three children, their entrance into the Grand Ole Opry, and their celebration of Shelton’s final episode of The Voice. You might even come across an old video of Shelton celebrating Easter while dressed as a huge pink bunny, if you look hard enough.

Stefani’s romance with her husband, a country music star, served as inspiration for the love song “True Babe.”.

Shelton and Stefani first interacted when they both worked as coaches on a season of The Voice in 2014. Stefani and Shelton began dating the year after their respective divorces from Gavin Rossdale and Miranda Lambert, two other country music artists.

The couple announced their engagement in October 2020, and on July 3, 2021, they wed in a chapel that had been built especially for the occasion on their Oklahoma property.
