A grateful kangaroo does this after being saved from a chilly lake by three men.

We like seeing people treat animals well. Rarely do creatures express gratitude for a kind deed. As a result, it is a very undervalued profession.

However, there are some instances in which animals have a charming way of thanking their rescuers, such as when a kangaroo gave the people who saved him a handshake.

According to rumors, Canberra resident David Boyd saw a kangaroo in Lake Burley Griffin. According to reports, the water was too cold for the animal to survive.

To finally save the animal, two courageous bystanders braved the chilly waters.

The men move slowly toward the kangaroo in an effort to avoid startling it. The kangaroo starts flailing its arms when they approach and try to grab its arms to pull it away for protection.

The men grab onto the animal and drag it out of the water with determination.

A third man carries the kangaroo to dry ground while controlling its behavior.

Kangaroos may seem friendly, but when they sense a threat, they can become aggressive. Their defenses include a kick that, according to experts, can dismember a man, sharp claws, and a potent punch similar to a boxer.

Fortunately, the kangaroo extended his paw in a tender gesture, as if shaking hands, suggesting that he was aware that these men were there to help.

He is heard saying, “Aw, he’s thanking you,” in the rescue’s audio recording”.

The kangaroo was in a state of “shock” and needed 30 minutes to recover.

The kangaroo eventually hopped along on its own, according to witnesses, and appeared unharmed.
