We enjoy seeing people treat animals with kindness. Rarely do creatures express gratitude for an act of kindness. It’s a very underappreciated profession as a result.
Anyhow, there are certain situations in which animals have a charming way of thanking their heroes, such as when a kangaroo shook hands with the people who saved him.
One kangaroo was reportedly spotted in Lake Burley Griffin by David Boyd, a resident of Canberra. According to reports, the water was too cold for the animal to survive.
For the animal to finally be saved, two courageous bystanders braved the chilly waters.
The men approach cautiously in an effort to avoid startling the kangaroo. The kangaroo starts flailing its arms when they approach and attempt to grab its arms to pull it away for protection.
The men grab hold of the creature and drag it out of the water with determination.
A third man carries the kangaroo to dry ground while controlling its behavior.
Despite their outward friendliness, kangaroos can become aggressive if they sense a threat. They have a powerful punch that is comparable to a boxer’s, pointed claws, and a kick that experts claim has the power to dismember a man.
Thankfully, he seemed to be aware that these men were there to help as he extended his paw in a touching gesture that appeared to be a handshake.
He can be heard saying, “Aw, he’s thanking you,” during the recording of the rescue. ”.
The kangaroo was in a state of “shock” and needed 30 minutes to recover.
Witnesses reported seeing the kangaroo eventually hop along on its own and appear unharmed.

That “handshake” was obviously because of you for saving the day, and these men deserve praise for saving this kangaroo.
