In the wildly successful television series, widowed Steven Douglas (Fred MacMurray) raised his three sons with the help of his father. The beloved sitcom gained popularity and was made into a U.S. S. one of the longest-running TV shows ever and S. households.

Both Tina Cole, who played Katie Miller Douglas, and Stanley Livingstone, who played her older brother Richard Douglas, revealed that the former child star has been in a coma ever since brain surgery to remove a tumor.
Recently, Livingstone and Dawn shared lunch as a sort of unofficial reunion.

Tina Cole has stated that she is praying for Lyn and her husband as well as hoping for Lyn’s recovery. Cole reported that Lyn has kept in touch with her husband, who has been by his side ever since his wife fell into the coma. Leif Garrett, Lyn’s real-life brother, has revealed that Lyn wanted her medical issues to remain private. According to TMZ, he allegedly said, “My sister, Dawn, never wanted anyone to know about the surgery. Please keep my sister in your prayers and be mindful of our family’s privacy. Much obliged. ”.
He also revealed how tragically recently they had lost both of their parents as well as a cousin. In light of their recent tragedy, Garrett pleaded with everyone to be considerate of the family’s current predicament.

Tina Cole said, “I saw a call coming in from her number and I expected it to be her husband John calling—he usually does,” and she continued, “I was in an indoor soccer game for my grandson and I could hardly hear. I was amazed when I went outside.
She spoke, and I heard her.
It was raspy when she spoke. When I questioned Dawn, “Is that really you?,” she answered, “Yes, it’s really me.”.
Just then, the tears started to come.

Cole said she was ecstatic about the compliments and that they helped her get better. Furthermore, I’m ecstatic that so many people prayed for her and thought of her. Prayer is powerful, in my opinion. The actor from My Three Sons is expected to come home by Easter, according to Tina Cole.
