A 9-year-old child was also killed in the shooting rampage, according to an Orlando news reporter who recounts the incident that claimed the life of another reporter.
WESH news reporter Luana Munoz was seen crying and sobbing on live television as she covered an Orlando shooting spree earlier that day. In the shooting spree, three people were killed, including a fellow news reporter named Dylan Lyons, and two more were seriously hurt.
While going about his daily business, Lyons. The person who had shot and killed a woman he knew earlier that day was ultimately identified as a Florida man by the name of Keith Moses. Lyons was in the middle of reporting from the crime scene when Moses reappeared out of nowhere and shot Lyons.
Moses also hurt his off-camera colleague, who is now in critical condition. Although they both worked for Spectrum News 13, there is no apparent connection between the victims and the suspect. Munoz learned of Lyons’ passing later that evening and traveled to the hospital where he passed away to deliver her report.
Okay, I apologize. Munoz wiped the tears from her eyes and shook her head, “This is very hard to cover.”. “The situation at [Orlando Regional Medical Center] is emotional. Since others present know the reporter and his fiancée, I won’t turn the camera around while we were hugging. ”.
According to her, the Orlando shooting rampage is “every reporter’s worst fear,” so it is encouraging to see the media come together in support.
In her words, “This is exactly what happened here.
We go home at night fearful that something like this may happen. Aged 24 at the time, Lyons.
“Now that we’re back at [ORMC], we’ve learned that a fellow reporter passed away while out covering a shooting. Before sending it off to the studio to “gather herself,” she said, “There are members of his family and his fiancée here who are heartbroken tonight’.
In the earlier incident that day, Nathacha Augustin had been the victim, and the shooter knew her. Only a few hours later, Moses returned to the scene and shot Lyons to death, wounding his colleague in the process. At eleven o’clock, Moses fatally shot her. m. Moses was detained and is now being accused of more crimes, including murder.
The Orlando shooting spree unfortunately went on. Dylan Lyons was killed by gunfire, and the shooter then went on the rampage from a nearby house. A mother and her 9-year-old daughter were shot to death inside of their home; the mother is in critical condition.
The motive for the victims’ deaths is still unknown, but according to the authorities, neither the mother nor the 9-year-old victim were related to the shooter. To determine what happened, they are currently assessing all the available data and conducting an investigation. The tragedy has shook Orlando.
Moses, who is only 19 years old, is accused of possessing drug paraphernalia and having a misdemeanor for drug possession in November 2021. Throughout his teenage years, the police detained him for serious battery, assault, and grand theft.

Our hearts go out to the loved ones, coworkers, and friends of our fallen employees during this terrible time. Spectrum News reported that “we remain optimistic that our other injured colleague will make a full recovery.”.
