As a parent, you want to make sure your child understands how much you value them. Your child is everything to you. A memorable day turned into a nightmare for one family, causing them to endure hell.
Instead of planning a birthday celebration as intended, they planned a funeral. This story is tragic.
A young boy named Josiah Toleafoa was traveling to Play City to celebrate his third birthday with other kids when tragedy struck. A toddler was struck by a vehicle in Chula Vista, San Diego, while amusing himself in the Play City indoor party venue’s parking lot.
Josiah’s mother reportedly sobbed hysterically as paramedics battled to save the young boy’s life, according to a witness to the horrifying incident. Josiah passed away at Rady Children’s Hospital, so regrettably, all the efforts were in vain.
The 36-year-old driver of the vehicle allegedly remained at the scene and cooperated. There is no proof, according to the police, that drinking or using drugs contributed to the collision.
To raise money for Joseph’s funeral costs through social media, family members created a GoFundMe page. The young boy was praised for his kindness and affection. “JOSIAH brought the family closer together; his amazing smile and adoring heart exuded joy wherever he was. He couldn’t accomplish his amazing deeds in the time allotted. The boy’s aunt Tatiana Tolefoa wrote in her essay, “I KNOW HE WOULD HAVE MADE A DIFFERENCE IN THE WORLD. ”.
The woman responded, “We’re doing this gofundme to help with my sweet nephew’s funeral expenses and services for the little angel that touched so many lives in so many different ways before he was called to Heaven,” when asked why the campaign was started. ”.
Any sum at all would be advantageous. We want to be able to bury him so that we can say our last goodbyes and never forget the little boy who loved us with such a huge heart. Our beloved family and friends’ presence to support us through this terrible loss is greatly appreciated. ”.
The owner of Play City asserted that the landlord will match the $2,000 that he is giving the Josiah family.
Despite the fact that the case is still being investigated, nobody has yet been detained in connection with the accident.
To put it mildly, this is tragic news. We offer our sympathies to Josiah Toleafoa’s family during this difficult time. Please join us in sending up prayers and thoughts for the family.
