The massage therapist from Perth, Australia, sued her neighbors after claiming she was unable to use her backyard because of their constant use of their barbecues and basketball games.
Carden told 9News in 2019 that the situation had been “devastating, in turmoil, unrest, and I haven’t been able to sleep”.

Carden, a vegan, has been griping about her neighbor’s smoking and grilling for months. Her opinions on the young people shooting hoops were also discussed.
She said, “All I can smell is fish because they put it there. ”. My backyard is useless because I am unable to leave the house. ”.
A vegetarian neighbor sues them for grilling meat in their garden.
Because it became so problematic, she sued her neighbors. After her claims were denied, she attempted to appeal to the Supreme Court but was also denied.
Carden said, “I informed the courts that it is deliberate”.
But her neighbor is sure that they have come up with a workable solution. When 9News allegedly visited the defendant’s backyard, a barbecue had been removed, and the kids had been instructed to stop playing basketball.
A Facebook event for a neighborhood barbecue was made after the strange court battle announcement to let Carden know she couldn’t “destroy a good old Aussie tradition”.
Following the event, which drew in 24,000 people, police did issue a warning, and Carden’s attorney issued a legal threat. The picnic was delayed.
Carden’s actions and complaints have led some to believe that she is against people eating meat, but according to her attorney, she has “no objection to people eating meat and no objection to people having barbecues”.
