When people first saw the photograph of the dog excavating a hole in front of a cemetery online, they assumed the dog was grieving for her deceased owner and yearned to see her owner once more.
But in reality, things were very different.
Vesna Mihajloski, a photographer from Serbia, took the image. She went up to the cemetery to find out why the dog had dug the hole and made an amazing discovery.
The grave had never been attempted to be dug up by the dog, it was discovered. When she dug the hole, she was pursuing a completely different objective.
She had just delivered four tiny puppies.
The mother dog was just a street dog looking for a place to shelter her puppies; she was in no way lamenting the loss of a deceased owner. Vesna offered her some food and water because she was feeling queasy and dizzy.
Instilling the dog with confidence, Vesna returned the entire family to their house.
The mother and puppies were finally safe and could leave the chilly cemetery.
The puppies grew quickly once they were permitted to eat quietly.
The ideal location for a game was Vesna’s yard.
They received a lot of love and food.
Vesna took the family to the vet so they could be examined and fixed. It would prevent them from having to live on the streets because they wouldn’t be able to have any more puppies.
Look at how far they’ve come!
I sincerely hope that all four puppies find loving, long-term homes rather than ending up on the streets. How wonderful that people are concerned about these street dogs and care about animals!
If you agree that every dog deserves a loving home, kindly spread the word.
