The bond between people and their pets can occasionally astound us.
Some people will do anything for their animals. Learning about people who go above and beyond to take care of their animals is energizing. Recently, a family had a unique fish tank created so that their cat could see the fish more clearly. The love that pet owners have for their animals is highlighted by this.
Cincinnati resident Melissa Krieger has always been fascinated by fish tanks.
Her cats love the new aquarium because they like to watch the fish swim around in it. Four of her cats occasionally sat in a row to observe the fish.
Jasper, one of her cats, enjoyed watching the fish swim by in particular. Melissa had the brilliant idea to have a special aquarium made so the cats could see the fish up close.
Melissa got the idea for the tank from kiddie aquariums, where you can stick your head up to see the fish. Melissa chuckles at the cats’ propensity to raise their heads and peer inside the tank.
She told them about her concept, and a nearby business called Aquatics and Exotics made a unique aquarium with a cat-specific viewing area.
Initially unsure of what to create, the cats soon understood its benefits. It was Jasper who first realized he could raise his head above the water’s surface for a clear view of the fish. After that, the cats were hooked in an instant. Melissa said it was great to see the cats enjoying it.
Thousands of viewers watched the cats’ reactions as they watched the fish, and the aquarium’s online popularity helped to draw attention to it. The 125-gallon tank cost $2,500, but Melissa believes it was money well spent.
You need to keep their minds active, so it’s wonderful to see them smiling. Melissa added that the money was worthwhile. “You spend that much on a TV, and this one is like a cat TV,” someone once said. Jasper rushes over as soon as we begin feeding the fish. He is having his dream right now”.
Melissa says the fish haven’t been bothered by the cats, in contrast to some people’s fears.
mainly because the fish are oblivious to the cats’ attention. Melissa observed that they don’t seem intimidated by Jasper. Some of those fish are more mature than he is. It seems to me that they either value it or they don’t. This link has been there for a while. Our cats get along great with the fish, particularly the huge orange parrots”.
Melissa had a truly inspired idea. These cats won’t ever be bored again because they seem to be having a blast taking close-up videos of the fish in their home.
