The woman noticed a lump on her leg when she was 15 years old, but decided to ignore it. She discovered her truth at the age of 27. Cheryl Murray didn’t think it was anything serious, but her belly kept growing until it was the size of a golf ball.
When she finally found her first lover, he asked about her leg problem. She then lied, but David insisted he take her to the doctor.
The hospital conducted several tests, but the results were dismal. The young woman apparently had a rare type of cancer called sarcoma and admitted:
“I never knew it could be so terrible. I burst out laughing when I found out. I couldn’t even talk because I was so stunned. ”
The bad news was that the illness had advanced significantly, and her leg had to be amputated below the knee.
The boyfriend of the 27-year-old lady was constantly by her side; he even asked her to marry him before the amputation procedure because he wanted her to know how much he loved her and that he would always be there for her.
Now the girl admits that she tells him every day that she can’t imagine what would have happened if he hadn’t been there.
Murray now uses a prosthesis to help her cope and says she has no regrets about not seeing a doctor sooner. Why? Because, foot or no foot, she’s happy right now.
