We’ve heard of people fighting “the man” before, but one Australian family seems to be taking things to a new extreme after turning down every offer for their property. Developers who have constructed entire suburbs on land adjacent to the property are said to have turned the family away on numerous occasions. The Windsor Castle-style mansion’s owners, however, contend that a special home cannot be valued. The Australian home reportedly has a 200 meter long driveway and is encircled by verdant gardens. It also provides sweeping views of the Blue Mountains. Large offers were made by developers who wanted to buy the land the property is situated on. However, my family is against it.
Ten years later, the house’s value is astronomical because the family rejected the developers who built a suburb around the entire property.
Much of the nearby land was sold in 2012, when the property was valued at about $4.75 million, according to a YouTube Credit/7News report.
Taylor Bredin, a Ray White Quakers Hill real estate agent, told 7News: “I respect you all.
But after 10 years, the house could be worth $50 million.”.
Ten years after the family rejected the developers who built a suburb all around their property, the house’s value has skyrocketed.
“You can push 40 to 50 for something like that, depending on how far the development plan is pushed, and a 300 square meter block will sell for a million dollars when it is subdivided. ”.
The building is currently encircled by nearby homes that have been constructed all the way up to a fence (Credit / 7News YouTube). The family residing there, though, claims they would prefer to live in a cul-de-sac and they have no plans to sell. His mother Diane Zammit, 50, told Daily Mail Australia that the area was “farmland .ted with red brick cottages and cottages.”. “In the past, every home was distinctive and spacious, but that’s not the case today.
