In an emotional celebration of love, Christine Brown and David Woolley exchanged vows and officially became husband and wife on October 7th. Surrounded by 330 guests, they planned a magical fairytale wedding in Moab, Utah. This amazing couple deserved every moment of happiness they experienced on their special day.
The celebration began Friday with a delicious dinner cruise on the Colorado River. Friends and family gathered to celebrate Christina and David’s love. The next day, under a flowery arch overlooking the same Colorado River, they said their most sincere vows to the enchanting melody of Etta Jones’ “At Last.”
Their ceremony was described as “short and sweet,” followed by an unforgettable evening under the twinkling lights of a beautifully decorated tent. During cocktail hour, guests enjoyed sparkling apple cider, champagne, Moscow mules, and mojitos. The buffet included mouthwatering dishes such as roast beef, barbecue chicken, cowboy potatoes, baked beans, and corn on the cob.
Christine Brown had always dreamed of her perfect wedding, and the couple went above and beyond to make it a reality. “It’s everything I never thought I would have. I get to walk down the aisle to David, him just looking at me the way that he does, it’s a dream come true,” shared Christine.
The meticulous planning and coordination of their wedding was led by wedding planner Daniel Rothweiler, who took care of every detail. Christina looked radiant in her bridal white beaded dress, and her hair and makeup were done to perfection by Elisa Schmidt. Courtney Hall did the bride’s makeup and gave her a stunning look.
The floral design that adorned the wedding venue was expertly created by Ali McDermott of Magnolia and Lace. To satisfy those with a sweet tooth, Christina and David created two cakes. His traditional three tier naked cake and a special Darth Vader themed cake for the groom.
This unforgettable weekend will be etched in their memories forever. For Christina, walking down the aisle in a white dress with her father was important, something she didn’t get to experience at her previous wedding. The couple wanted to make the ceremony as family-friendly as possible, so their children and grandchildren joined the procession down the aisle.
Christine Brown and David Woolley: a natural love story
Ironically, Christine Brown and David Woolley met at the perfect time. They started dating in December and their romance continued to develop. Christina revealed her new boyfriend’s name on Valentine’s Day, a week after she first mentioned him. Then, in April, David proposed to her and they are now happily married!
Expressing his joy, David described himself as fortunate to have found Christine, referring to her as a “unicorn.” He also shared his dating struggles after the passing of his wife in 2012. “After my wife passed away, I dated and I just could never find somebody. I knew Christine was ‘the one.’ It just feels so right.”
Christine couldn’t help but gush about her husband, explaining how David feels like home to her. She emphasized the incredible bond they share, saying, “Wherever we are together, we just create this amazing unity. We’re a solid unit, and whatever goes on around us just doesn’t even matter. Being married solidifies our love even more.” The couple couldn’t be happier.
