Doctors saved Chris Young’s life, which led to the creation of his music.
During a recent Sirius XM interview, the singer of “Famous Friends” talked about his near-death experience. In case you missed it, Young required hospitalization in 2013 due to a leg infection.
He said, “I didn’t know it was infected, but I had a small wound on my leg that grew infected. Young claimed that when he first woke up, he had “vision troubles” and “didn’t feel great.”. Later that day, however, he did have a performance.
I boarded the aircraft despite the fact that we were traveling to a far-off location because I told myself that if I didn’t go, I would miss the performance. In the middle of the flight, I went into septic shock and experienced the worst symptoms ever.
They quickly drove me to the hospital. They hurried me to the intensive care unit and informed me that I would need surgery, but they wouldn’t do it until tomorrow.
But once doctors looked at his blood work, Young claimed he was in serious trouble. His blood pressure was so low that doctors thought his organ was about to fail.
Additionally, Young claims that a doctor gave him a spooky pre-procedure warning. She gave Young something special as the medical staff got him ready for surgery.
“Just in case you don’t wake up, say your prayers to whichever God you believe in”.
However, Chris Young would have additional near-death experiences. The Tennessee native was involved in yet another terrible incident at the Route 91 Harvest Festival in Las Vegas in 2017. 58 people were killed during the festival when a shooter opened fire on the crowd from a nearby hotel. Luckily, Young was backstage during the shoot.
He recalled at the time, “It was pretty terrifying. ”. “You know, I let my mother and sister know that I was in Las Vegas in the wee hours. “Nothing’s wrong. It served as a reminder to always show your loved ones your affection.
