Colt Ford had previously discussed his battle with cancer in the media. He first noticed a lesion on his eye in March, and by April, it had grown significantly. He then informed his supporters that he had been given a cancer diagnosis.
Colt recalled going to a Georgia cataract specialist and being told, “This ain’t good” and “You gotta get this out.”. “I got really nervous because they wanted me to see a cornea specialist.”.
Even though Colt had surgery, he asserts that full chemo was still “a week to ten days away.”. ”. He’ll have to “monitor” it instead by putting chemo drops in his eye. He did alter his viewpoint in response to the diagnosis. He continues, “And this is what’s going to kill me? I could have killed myself numerous times for all the stupid things I’ve done.”. “I know that God never gives you more than you can bear, but the Lord may have more faith in me than I thought,” said the speaker. Colt acknowledges that he needed drugs to survive the epidemic and that it was difficult for him. He is now in a better place, though, and a music video for his new song “When Country Comes Again” will be released very soon.
