After nine years, Chuck Todd will leave NBC’s Meet the Press.
During Sunday’s episode of the political panel show, Todd, 51, announced his departure. At the end of this summer, he will step down from his position as Meet the Press moderator.
He made a promise to his family that he wouldn’t do that after witnessing too many friends and family members let their work consume them before it was too late. ”.

The political journalist continued by saying that he was ready to step down from his position to give someone else a chance. NBC White House correspondent Kristen Welker, a coworker of his, is involved.
