Allison Fisher described the amazing journey she underwent after shedding 104 pounds. In addition to her periods becoming more erratic and lasting almost a year, she had been experiencing stomach pain for the majority of 2020.
Despite this, she put off getting medical help out of concern that she would be made to lose weight once more. When she had unrelated illnesses like colds or ear infections, she had frequently heard this when visiting the doctor.

She noticed a huge, stone-like tumor quickly growing on her abdomen as her discomfort quickly worsened.
She looked up the growth’s cause online and found that it was an ovarian cyst with about 46 liters of fluid inside of it; this was a diagnosis that required medical treatment to confirm.

In Ascension St. Sarah Fisher was discovered to weigh 104 pounds and have an ovarian cyst with a 10 cm diameter by Vincent’s gynecologic oncology specialist Dr. Martin Martino.
Fisher felt her organs being squeezed, but she was unable to lie on her stomach due to the size of the cyst. Her future ability to become a mother is also in jeopardy due to the left ovary being twisted three times.
Fortunately, Fisher said that the procedure gave her a “second chance” at life after the cyst was successfully removed.
Dr. Martino and his staff were able to untwist Sarah’s twisted left ovary. She was still fertile as a result, giving her a chance to become pregnant in the future.
Sarah Fisher, who endured years of extreme obesity, was able to restart her life after weight-loss surgery.
She spoke about the experience and added that she could now do regular activities and put on clothing that she had previously been unable to. Sarah also wanted to encourage those in a similar circumstance to seek medical attention without holding back because of their size.
Many women eventually develop ovarian cysts, which are relatively common. These cysts are typically painless, but larger or burst ones can result in discomforts like bloating, pelvic pain, or abdominal heaviness.
Any symptoms that persist for a few days or longer should be checked by a doctor.
