Fans of “Duck Dynasty” are well aware of the hardships Jase Robertson and his wife Missy have experienced as a result of their daughter Mia’s cleft lip and palate, which she has had to deal with since birth. The decision to discuss their experience with their second pregnancy, however, was made only recently by the couple. When Missy Robertson found out she was expecting a third child in 2002, she already had Reed and Cole, two sons she raised as her own. But soon after the good news, there was bad news.
Missy revealed in a Closer magazine interview that she miscarried when she was between eight and ten weeks pregnant. This gave her “just enough time” to begin announcing the pregnancy and feeling joyful about it.
Jase and Missy Robertson deliver the heartbreaking news while inconsolable.
According to Missy’s diagnosis, she was pregnant tubally, which occurs when the embryo implants in the fallopian tube as opposed to the uterus. I didn’t realize the mental anguish of having to go in and have someone remove what could’ve been your child, the woman said, adding, “I didn’t realize the mental anguish of having to go in and have someone remove what could’ve been your child. ”. I was unaware of the psychological distress that would have resulted from having to enter that location and have someone remove what might have been your child. It was a difficult task“.
After the tragedy, the couple didn’t have to wait long to feel happy because Missy soon found out she was expecting a girl named Mia as her second child. But Mia’s congenital anomaly dampened their initial excitement. I knew when Mia walked out that this was going to be difficult,” she recalled. But he ultimately changed his mind because he was concerned about her long-term health. I questioned him, “Why am I getting so excited about how she’s going to look when I just wanted her to be alive?,” he replied.
During the “Duck Dynasty” season five finale, viewers saw 11-year-old Mia undergo her fifth procedure to treat her illness. Because her family was by her side, she acted bravely. When I feel down or encounter difficulties, Mia said, “I know God is bigger than all of that. The father of Closer assured her that as long as they were both still alive, anything was possible.
