Almost always, the actors or actresses in question are unrelated; they were simply chosen for a role because of their distinctive appearance.
Although Woody Harrelson and Matthew McConaughey are both well-known actors and may not look too alike, there is a growing theory that they are actually long-lost siblings. We should probably point out now that the actors themselves have contributed to the theory at this point. As you may remember, McConaughey openly discussed the possibility that he could be Woody Harrelson’s biological brother last month.
However, it doesn’t seem like Harrelson’s comments will do much to eliminate the possibility now that he has spoken up. The 53-year-old Dallas Buyers Club actor McConaughey claimed his mother implied the possibility when she acknowledged knowing Harrelson’s father well, possibly indicating that the two may have interacted sexually in the past. On Kelly Ripa’s Let’s Talk Off Camera podcast, McConaughey explained how his cherished, elderly mother had given him the potentially explosive information while the families of Harrelson and McConaughey were on vacation together in Greece.
A few years ago, McConaughey recalled, we were chatting while lounging in Greece about how close we are and our families. “Then my mother shows up and says, “Woody, I knew your dad. Everyone could see my mother’s ellipsis after the word “knew.”. It was packed with knowledge”.
In fact, the 53-year-old discovered that while his parents were going through their second divorce, Harrelson’s father was on furlough. McConaughey wasn’t persuaded at the time that the two celebrities would submit to DNA testing to put the controversy to rest.
‘Look, it’s a little easier for Woody to say, ‘Come on, let’s do DNA tests,’ because what’s the skin in the game for him?’ ‘You’re asking me to take a chance and think, ‘Wait a minute, you’re trying to tell me my dad may not be my dad after 53 years of believing that?” McConaughey said. ”.
Even more reportedly, he said to her, “That ain’t my son. Harrelson is also much more open to the notion of getting a DNA test to ascertain the truth.
We want to go and test, but for him, it’s a much bigger deal, Harrelson said in a Stephen Colbert interview. In fact, he believes he is losing his father. But I respond, “No, you will have a new father and a brother”.
