The devastating news is announced by Tori Roloff.

Tori Roloff, wife of Little People, Big World actor Zach Roloff, wrote to her 10.9 million Instagram followers that her husband is “doing well and recovering” following an emergency shunt revision.

Tori, 31, added in the caption, “This was not at all how we had planned our vacation.

Zachary needed an urgent shunt revision this morning”.

He is okay and recovering despite what happened, and the terrifying 72 hours.

She shared pictures of Zach grinning while in the hospital bed and thanked Zach’s friends, family, supporters, and the neurosurgeon team for “their attentiveness to Zach’s needs!”.

She said, “We are so grateful for your love and support. The fact that Zach’s mother, Amy Roloff, kept everything running smoothly while we engaged in endless games of hide-and-seek is also deserving of praise”.

Zach, you are an incredible person.

I’m hoping this will be the answer to our prayers for you to get your headaches under control and that you’ll recover quickly and painlessly.

You were acting like a rock star following brain surgery. I’m so pleased with you. ”.

A shunt, according to John Hopkins Medicine, is a hollow tube that is surgically inserted into the brain or occasionally the spine to help with cerebrospinal fluid drainage and the redirection of that fluid to another area of the body where it can be reabsorbed. This procedure may be used to treat the condition known as hydrocephalus.

Matt Roloff, Zach Roloff’s father, had previously stated that his son would undergo an “essential shunt adjustment.”. He requested prayer for them and their family from their followers.

The Instagram Story that Tori shared with her followers has since been taken down. She claimed that although she “hesitated” before breaking the news to them, she “really believes in prayer” and “may need some” the next day.

Tori continued, “Zach and I are worried even though they say it’s a routine procedure because I have no idea what to expect. “It seems like a big deal to us, but we trust his doctors’ expertise and knowledge. “I would appreciate your prayers very much,” you said.
