The legendary Hollywood actor is said to be thinking about giving up directing after his upcoming film, Juror 2, which is reportedly a courtroom thriller.
Discussing Film reported that Clint Eastwood’s upcoming film may be the last of his lengthy and successful career.
If Juror 2 is produced, Eastwood will have directed 40 films. The 92-year-old director and actor’s most recent project, in addition to Letters from Iwo Jima and Flags of Our Fathers (2006), Million Dollar Baby (2004), American Sniper, and Sully, was the 2021 movie Cry Macho, which he also starred in.
It has been reported that the plot of Juror 2 revolves around a man who is summoned to a jury trial to decide a murder case only to discover that he might have been the murder victim’s cause of death.
The juror “must wrestle with the decision of whether to manipulate the jury to save himself, or to reveal the truth and turn himself in,” as the trial progresses”.
Warner Bros. is allegedly working on the sequel to Juror. according to Discussing Film. The majority of Eastwood’s illustrious career has been spent working with the studio.
