Sheila’s bravery is not an unusual occurrence. Flight attendants are trained to recognize signs of human trafficking by airlines like Airline Ambassadors International. By working with US Customs and Border Patrol, these devoted attendants actively fight this horrifying crime.
After her incident in 2011, Sheila teamed up with Airline Ambassadors to gather the knowledge necessary to recognize subsequent instances that were similar.
