Actor Matt Roloff gave a moving eulogy in memory of his father Ronald James Roloff, who passed away earlier this year at the age of 84.
On Instagram, Matt, 60, posted a heartfelt tribute to his deceased father.
The Roloff family has had a difficult week. This evening, my father, who was affectionately referred to as “papa” by his ten grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren, passed away so that he could spend eternity with his Lord and Savior. He spoke while paying an emotional homage.

His love for Jesus was evident throughout his life, but especially in his final years. Everyone who met him could tell he was a people-person.
In his writings, Matt has discussed the deaths of his father and sibling as a result of chronic lymphocytic leukemia.
Josh Roloff passed away in 1999 at the age of 34. When he was a young boy, doctors discovered that he had serious heart and lung issues. His family is still upholding his legacy decades after his passing.
Josh is mentioned in their book Small Family, Big Values as a lovely son, brother, uncle, and friend who was with us for far too little time during this life. Since we all miss and think about you every day, we pray that we will one day see you again in the presence of our Savior.

Amy, Matt’s ex-wife, lost her mother Patricia Knight tragically while she was celebrating her engagement to Chris Marek, her second husband.

She once said on social media that sorrow is a fascinating creature. The agony can be so intense that you have to slam on the brakes as you’re driving down a road in your hometown that you’ve been to numerous times with your mother.
“I think I smelled her at that point. I beg you to watch her laugh. All of this shows how much I care about her. I knew this woman. All of her memories came flooding back to me, mine to keep. We had been impenetrable. And I’ll continue traveling in the same manner as I did with her while missing her every time.
