Alfonso Ribeiro and his wife, Angela Ribeiro, revealed Ava Sue’s condition to their Instagram followers. Ava crashed her sit-down scooter the day before her fourth birthday, necessitating an urgent procedure on May 12 to avoid scarring.
The same photo of their daughter’s injuries, which included some severe burns and bruises near her right eye, elbow, and other areas, was shared by both parents. Alfonso expressed his gratitude for helping Ava recover and his pride in her to the kind and knowledgeable staff at Kare MD Skin Health.
“I just wanted to say thank you so much to Kare MD Skin Health for the urgent care and procedure that helped to reduce the likelihood of scarring. “So proud of how brave my little girl was throughout the procedure,” Alfonso captioned a photo on Instagram on May 12th.
Around the same time that her husband posted his Instagram caption, Ava’s mother, Angela Ribeiro, gave additional details about the incident. She claimed that when she woke up on Friday, “a vision/motherly intuition” told her that Ava would end up in the ER; her maternal instincts were tingling.
