Amber Heard has been relaxing in Spain after her legal drama involving actor Johnny Depp.
And Heard has secured a secure location to stay in that is not on American soil. Oonagh Paige Heard, Heard’s 1-year-old daughter, and she are currently in Palma de Mallorca, Spain. Heard is staying with Bianca Butti, a Hollywood screenwriter, producer, and cinematographer who prefers to live in Spain rather than the United States.
Depp has taken a lot of trips since he won the slander lawsuit a few months ago. Heard has been relocating to Spain to live alone with her friend. Since the trial, she has made an effort to keep her attention on her child and keep Depp’s powerful influence at bay by avoiding the spotlight.
Heard’s financial situation is a little precarious right now. Heard must pay Depp as a result of the jury’s decision in favor of Heard, who was awarded $8.3 million. She is still appealing the case, though, in the hopes that the decision will result in a significant reduction or elimination of the potential debt.
Heard may find it challenging to avoid paying the $8.3 million penalty for losing the defamation case against Johnny Depp. Her appeal request has already been rejected by one court. Heard had argued for the case to be declared a mistrial and for a live television replay of the trial in front of spectators.
Heard submitted the appeal motion on July 1st, 2022. Heard’s defense team contended that the appeal request from the jury was contradictory. They maintained sufficient separation between those nominated to serve on the jury and those present during the trial for the decision to be overturned, which is against Heard, to stand.
Heard appears to be doing little in Spain other than licking her wounds. As an alternative, she is unwinding and spending time with her young daughter, Oonagh Paige Heard, in a nation that borders the Mediterranean Sea. She is having fun with her friend Butti, who has directed a number of movies.
Heard’s most recent film appearances in Hollywood were in Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom and the finished and currently in post-production In the Fire.
Her ex-husband Johnny Depp continues to achieve great success in Hollywood today. In the upcoming Netflix movie La Favorite, he will play the main character.
Currently being developed is a new Pirates of the Caribbean movie. He will show up in Fantastic Beasts 3 when it is released. Heard and Depp appear to be able to coexist without one another just fine. Depp, however, seems to be having a good run now that he has prevailed in the legal dispute.
