The co-host of the Today show continued to post inspirational messages on Instagram during her downtime. Her most recent song is called “Choose Hope”.
Others questioned whether Kotb was adopting yet another child.
She had previously taken a break and teased the adoption in the days before the big revelation.
Kotb’s absence of nearly two weeks and Savannah Guthrie’s abrupt departure from Tuesday’s show were briefly discussed by Melvin.
“Savannah and Hoda are both missing, we noticed. After receiving a positive COVID test yesterday, Savannah is now at home. He said our friend must recover quickly.
