We are aware that many of you are worried about Hoda’s welfare. We can confirm that Honda is in good health. She has been coping with a family health issue, according to Craig Melvin, who said this on Wednesday morning.
Despite appearing on a previously recorded Today with Hoda and Jenna episode that aired on February 20, President’s Day, Kotb, 58, made her last live appearance on Today on February 17.

Since then, no one—not even Kotb—has offered an explanation for why she vanished so suddenly. She left no traces, so fans are left wondering where she went and what she did.
The co-host of the Today show continued to post inspirational content on Instagram when she had free time. Her most recent song is called “Choose Hope”.
Some questioned if Kotb was adopting yet another child.
She had previously taken a break, and in the days leading up to the big revelation, she had teased the adoption.
Melvin briefly discussed Savannah Guthrie’s abrupt departure from Tuesday’s show (she tested positive for COVID) as well as Kotb’s nearly two-week absence.
“Savannah and Hoda are both missing, we noticed. After receiving a positive COVID test result yesterday, Savannah is now at home. He said, “Our friend needs to get better quickly.”.
Since we’re talking about Hoda, we should mention that many of you have probably been wondering how she is doing. We can confirm that Hoda is in good health. Hoda has been attending to a family health issue, but we anticipate seeing her and Savannah back at the desk soon.
Al Roker continued, “We love you both”.
Hoda was fine, Willie Geist and Jenna Bush Hager of Today with Hoda Jenna assured the audience. They had heard all of the audience members’ worries.
Her only concern is a family member’s health.
