Days after being mocked and rejected before the homecoming dance, the teenager is faced with 13 girls.

If you made it through high school, then you probably know how brave it is to ask someone to dance wildly for you, especially if you have never done it before and are not well-known.

Dakota Nelton, a high school sophomore from Gray, Louisiana, mustered the courage to invite a friend to the school’s homecoming dance. He had never done it before, and it took a lot of bravery, so it was a big deal for him.

She refused it nonetheless. That it occurred in front of their classmates, who laughed and made fun of Dakota for receiving the rejection, is unacceptable. They made matters worse by trampling all over his homemade poster that he had created to make his proposal.

Dakota backed away from the students, hoping against hope that the ground would give way and swallow him whole. He fled to laughter and jeers, which looked like something out of a child’s worst nightmare.

He recalled the difficult circumstance to WGNO New Orleans and said, “It was a pretty tough moment standing in a small circle with that one shake of the head, and you just got to find your way out of that circle. ”.

The incident was caught on camera, which was the last thing he expected to happen just as bad things were about to get worse. The video received hundreds of views after being posted to Facebook. People could see Dakota being ridiculed for merely trying to go on a date from every part of the US.

A couple of days later, Dakota showed up at the school; he had no idea that he would soon be a part of something that would be remembered for all time.

A group of at least thirteen girls, each with a sign in hand, stopped him as he made his way down the hallway.

It turned out the girls had teamed up to convince Dakota that he was deserving, loved, and that he had no reason to doubt himself. They prepared to welcome him to join them.

Dakota smiled and continued, “I felt like one of the popular kids in school, which I’m not. ”.

Take a look at the stunning video below:

Such a sweet act was carried out for you by these remarkable girls. Dakota needs to know that what you did required a lot of courage; don’t let people making fun of you bring you down.
