Candace Cameron Bure has recently been the target of harsh media criticism. The actress recently made headlines regarding “traditional marriage,” which irked some of her fans.
This time, a photo of the actress and her spouse is creating a commotion.
In 1994, Candace Cameron Bure met Valeri Bure, the man she would eventually marry, at a hockey game. They dated for a year before getting married on June 22, 1996.
Even after nearly 20 years of marriage, they still make time for one another and try to keep their romance alive.
It was fun to see Bure’s Instagram story, where she showed their marriage’s playful side. However, the actress faced a lot of criticism from her audience who thought that her jovial attitude was disrespectful.
In spite of the criticism, Bure remained unwavering. She didn’t give up and posted the image to her Facebook page. The “sweet and spicy” nature of her marriage was perfectly captured in two images she posted online. In the second image, Valerie’s arm is encircling his wife’s shoulder and his hand is resting on her chest.
Fans cautioned her that the image was inappropriate for a so-called “Christian celebrity” of her caliber. The actress, though, had a reply for those who criticized her. She chuckled and said, “I’m sorry if that offended you… I’m not sorry,” in a subsequent video that she posted to her Instagram stories”.
“I’m glad we’re still having fun after all these years”.
After 24 years, she claimed to have all the indicators of a “good and healthy marriage”.
She stated, “I laugh because it’s my husband,” in a later Instagram story video. Though I hope he does, he is free to touch me whenever he pleases”.
