The guardian must also produce an annual report detailing their time spent looking after him in accordance with the rules.
According to the paperwork provided, his health was rapidly declining and that he was unable to make his own decisions, putting him at risk of getting sick or hurt physically. Even his ability to make sound financial decisions was lacking, as was his capacity to effectively communicate those decisions if he did. Prior to this revelation, his condition seemed to be much worse than had been anticipated or believed.
To think that someone as well-known as Mr. Fritz has experienced such a tragedy is heartbreaking. We can only hope he gets well quickly and is able to stand up again.
While Frank is recovering from his injuries and regaining his health, the designated guardian will be in charge of making health-related decisions for him. Unfortunately, these are not simple choices because they involve deciding which medical procedures would be best for Frank and who will have access to his finances and personal information.
