Anna “Chickadee” Cardwell’s stage IV cancer is terminal, according to Mama June Shannon.
Shannon, 43, stated to Entertainment Tonight on July 12 that “she’s not going into remission.”. We’ve all come to terms with that, so I just tell people to take each day as it comes because you never know. ”.

Cardwell was found to have stage IV adrenal carcinoma in January after experiencing severe stomach aches, according to news reports that surfaced on March 30. In May, Shannon and her husband, Justin Stroud, revealed in an exclusive interview with Us Weekly that Anna’s eldest child, Kaitlyn, 10, had grown “more clingy” as a result of her mother’s cancer battle. Cardwell has occasionally updated her fans on social media during her cancer journey. Later that month, she used Facebook to mark Kaitlyn’s completion of elementary school.
