The ‘1000-Lb. Michael Halterman, the star of the television series Sisters, has filed for divorce.

Amy Slaton and Michael Halterman announced their intention to divorce less than a year after the birth of their second child together. Michael Halterman and Amy Slaton are getting divorced. On March 13, Kentucky court records claim that Halterman, 40, filed for divorce from the 1,000-pound Sisters star.

Previously featured on the TLC program, the ex-couple wed in 2019 after eloping in 2017.

The second child of the couple, Glenn Allen Halterman, arrived less than a year before the divorce petition was submitted. Their son, who weighed 5 pounds, was born on July 5 via c-section. 11 oz. and measuring 17 5/8 inches in length. Then, 35-year-old Slaton declared, “Finally, the wait is over. Our son, Glenn Allen Halterman, has been born, and Michael and I are overjoyed. After a successful delivery, I exclaimed, “I had two miraculous sons; our family is complete.”.

In a recent 1000-Lb episode, Slaton gushed about her infant child. He was compared to her and Halterman by his sisters, they claimed.
