Exciting News: ‘Today’ Host Al Roker Becomes a Grandfather for the First Time – Baby’s Name and Gender Revealed!

Al Roker, the “Today” weatherman, has welcomed his first grandchild. His oldest daughter Courtney Roker and her husband Wesley Laga welcomed their first child on Monday.

Al delightedly informed his fellow “Today” co-hosts of the wonderful and joyous news on Tuesday morning. The mother and child, according to him, are both doing well, and the entire family is overjoyed to welcome the adorable new member into their home.

Wesley and Courtney got married in 2021, and in March of this year, they announced that they were expecting. In addition to running a test kitchen and creating recipes, Wesley also teaches acting.

The first child of Al Roker’s daughter is born, making him a grandfather for the first time.
The “Today” crew congratulated Al, his daughter, and her husband after tweeting the news. The Twitter video stated:.

“Wesley and Courtney, Al Roker’s daughter, welcomed a girl into the world yesterday, giving him grandchildren. “Congratulations to @alroker and his family!”.

During Hoda Kotb’s Morning Boost segment on “Today,” the baby girl’s name was made public. The newborn is called Sky Clara Laga. “Today” correspondent Sheinelle Jones gushed in response to the name.

It’s sweet that his first grandchild is named Sky. How adorable is that?

Al’s coworkers broadcast an earlier video in which he talked about how thrilled he was to be about to become a grandpa in addition to expressing their congratulations and joy. First-time mother Courtney spoke on “Today” about how happy she and Wesley were that Sky was born.

She is eager to begin this new chapter with her family because it will mark a significant turning point in their lives. They called their newborn a miracle and expressed their deep gratitude for everything.
