Hannah Simmons, 23, and her best friend, along with their nine-month-old child, Alannah, visited a doctor.
On the way, Hanna abruptly lost control of her vehicle, sending it flying into the path of a truck. Her closest friend Hanna and her nine-month-old daughter all disappeared in an instant.
When emergency services arrived on the scene, a man dialed 911, but he and the other witnesses quickly realized there wasn’t much they could do.
Anisa Gannon, 19, who was en route to work, stopped at the scene of the collision. Anisa grabbed her phone and snapped a picture of the closed road to show her employer as to why she would be late. However, when Anisa took the photo, she didn’t notice something; it wasn’t until after that she did.
In the picture, a bright beam of light shoots out of the sky, illuminating the area of the car where the mother and her child perished.
The victim’s relatives sobbed when Anisa showed them the photo and the light beam. It appeared as though they were leaving for heaven, Anisa’s aunt Tara remarked to her niece”.
The victims’ family has found solace in the light and has interpreted it as proof that Hanna, her closest friend, and her nine-month-old daughter have entered heaven, despite doubters who believe it is a reflection from Anisa’s car’s windshield.
Jodi Simmons, Hanna’s mother, declared that she “absolutely” thought the startling illustration depicted a “pathway to heaven”.
